Samantha Vauter is a writer, poet, and artist based in Middletown, CT, currently studying traditional sculpture at The Lyme Art Academy.

Drawing from her background in writing and the intimate process of ceramics, she creates experimental works that merge text, lived experience, and material.

Using visceral, found objects and garments, Vauter communicates personal frustrations tied to womanhood and embodiment, connecting the body to the natural world we inhabit.
