Who’s Getting Handsy - and why?

Get Handsy is a multi-vendor e-commerce site for artists to sell their work. But that’s a little too short and sweet.

What sets this platform apart from others is:

  • Vendor Approval and Check-Ins

    • Get Handsy goes through an approval process with all potential artist vendors. This allows our platform to be resistant to resellers, and fully devoted to being a place for one of a kind pieces.

  • Prioritization of Community

    • Get Handsy is so particular about our artists because we are building community. Right now, we’re focusing in on artists located around NY, NJ, and PA, and have plans to host meetings every month for the artists in our community to hang out and connect with each other!

  • Portfolio Assistance and Display

    • The intention is for artists to use our site portfolio page as a main portfolio page to refer folks to during the submission process, and for independent inquiries. Get Handsy will host your art, and your portfolio. Each artist will have a page containing an Artist’s Statement, Biography, Resume, and Gallery.

  • Marketing Assistance

    • Get Handsy is devoted to helping our artist vendors be able to have a marketable and strong digital footprint. That is why we offer free of charge e-commerce photography services that are free to use on every artist vendor’s social media pages with our instagram tagged. Get Handsy produces group shoots that showcase all our artist's work in-situ.

  • Exhibition and Pop-Up Shop Opps 

    • As we gain more artist vendors on the platform and become profitable, Get Handsy’s goal is to host vendor exhibitions and pop up shops every two to three months.

Niz Jahangir

Niz Jahangir is a multi-disciplinary artist who craves connection. With a background in visual arts and production/media design, she started Get Handsy with hopes to bring interactions with art into the daily conscious through a focus on interiors. For Niz, well crafted interiors are synonymous with a well-adorned inner life, and sharable life.
